Time in nature
Today I had a lovely walk in nature. Natures known to having great effects on our health and well-being. In terms of mental health it’s been shown to improve self esteem, reduce loneliness, reduces stress and anxiety, increase self efficacy, social support and generally make us feel happier! Those who have a higher connection to nature have also been shown to have even bigger positive effects on mental health.
Physically spending time in nature has been shown to improve our immune system, muscles and heart. So there’s so many benefits to having a stroll in a natural environment!
Today I went for a lovely stroll and thought I’d share a few pictures I took while walking. Hopefully they encourage you to spend some more time in nature now the weather is getting milder and spring is beginning to creep in.

During my walk I also picked some leaves/flowers to press for my journal. Hopefully they turn out well!
